We all have behaviors that we use to survive in the world. Unfortunately, many of these behaviors were adopted to compensate for a dysfunctional environment (e.g. over-achieving, under-achieving, over-giving, under-giving, busy-ness, hiding, checking out, accumulating, ...). These behaviors become "addictions" which keep us from feeling the Truth about our lives. Once you stop these "addictions" you unleash the pain that lives underneath. This pain can be gut-wrenching; but once you allow it to be felt, to move through you, you will be free of it forever. Emotion is energy in motion. It needs to move through you or it will begin to erode you.

There is not a way that life IS - only the way it presents itself to you based on your perspective. Unfortunately, your perspective was developed during your active addiction - based on circumstances, experiences and trauma. To change your perspective, heal your past. Heal your past, life will look different. We promise!

Consider that forgiveness has nothing to do with another person. It has everything to do with your inner environment and the inner peace that comes from moving through the negative emotions of your past and accessing a fortress of inner strength and wisdom. That inner strength understands that your past no longer has any power.
