Coastal Cleanup Cancelled for Saturday September 12 .... at Sequoia Yacht Club and the Port of Redwood City. It is an important activity and your willingness to participate is much appreciated and a great thing for our environment and waterways. Unfortunately the air quality in Redwood City is very unhealthy at this point and looks like it will be that way until Monday. So therefore we have decided to cancel tomorrows cleanup and hope the air quality improves and you will be ...able to join us at one of the other 2 remaining Saturdays in September. Thanks again for your support of our environment. Very best wishes, Winston Bumpus

Coastal Cleanup Month September 2020 September marks the 36th annual California Coastal Cleanup. This year, rather than meeting up at public events throughout the state on a single date, cleanups will happen every Saturday throughout the month. Winston Bumpus will be at the Club every Saturday in September between 9am and 11am with buckets, gloves, grabbers, hand sanitizer and other supplies.... Practice physical distancing, and strictly follow both local ordinances and the set of guidelines provided on the California Coastal Commission website. Safety first! Please count every piece of trash you collect! Reporting thoroughly and accurately will help put together a more complete picture of Coastal Cleanup 2020. Data will be collected primarily through the CleanSwell app for smartphones USE GROUP sequoiayc Check out this great video made to explain the importance of collecting data during this year's cleanup.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji3YxqLXrus&feature=youtu.be Please enter the information below so Winston will know when to expect you and to have needed equipment on hand https://forms.gle/qZprU8jPxR44Cvqo6 Thank you for your help and Happy Cleanup Month!
