Despite the physical challenges I'm facing I DID finish updating our Business Plan for presentation to possible investors. I have 2-4 in mind to set up meetings to talk to... hopefully next week or certainly this month. Updates soon.

Hey friends, happy February! We have had a bit of a set-back with a torn bicep tendon. But the plan is to press ahead with setting up meetings with potential investors, looking at possible business loans if the terms are reasonable. Our mission to get Sequoia Coffee Roastery opened is undeterred. Stay tuned and we will keep you posted.

I haven't written a post here for some time... its getting to be that very busy (and my favorite) time of year. The Kickstarter campaign kept me busy most of October. Then I started November with some minor physical challenges (back and flu). Time seems to be ticking along faster and faster and now its nearly halfway through November. Of course, this month holds my favorite holiday - THANKSGIVING! This year I've got a lot to be thankful for. An amazing community of support f...or a not-yet-in-business business. Pledges from a non-successful Kickstarter campaign are beginning to come into our PayPal account so we can capture some momentum anyway. (NOTE: if you'd like to get in on that - please send a message and I'll give you the particulars.) I'm thankful for the article in the Fresno Bee that brought more local attention to our company. I also heard from someone recently that they heard Sequoia Coffee Roastery mentioned on a local radio station!! Ladies and gentlemen all we need to get this going is the financial backing. So, if you or someone you know might be interested in a more 'traditional' investment in Sequoia Coffee Roastery please let me know. I'll be contacting a couple of local potential investors between now and the early part of 2016 to see if we can get some traction. I don't know many who have those kind of means - but the closest ones I can think of would certainly know some local investor types that I can start meeting with. If you happen to know one/some - by all means send me a private message and there'll be a bag of coffee in it for you. Happy November everyone... you'll hear from me again soon.
