Happy Birthday, Mary#89 Mary’s secret to living a long, good, life is working hard as an LVN and an x-ray Tech. She loved knitting and quilting for the whole family. She also wove intricate baskets of pine needles from Waller Park. Church is very important to her, every Sunday. She loves hamburgers from Burger King, and thinks that strawberry cake is the best. Sorry, no picture of the strawberry cake the cook, Anthony, made for her. ... Mary sang many years in choir, and used to walk a lot. She has beautiful blue eyes and always has a cheerful attitude. When asked what she thinks of being 89 years old she said, She’s not 89. We are blessed throughout each day by her positive energy, encouragement to all, and her bright smile.

My husband flew B-51’s during the war. He came home safely. We had 3 children after he came home. Marcia; I remember I was at home. It was just shocking. Anybody who had feelings was devastated. Jack; Everything went to hell that day. I didn’t know anyone directly affected.
