It’s a quiet foggy Saturday morning in #Cardiff as our #Divemaster Candidates work on their under water mapping project at #CardiffStateBeach. They did an outstanding job working together, measuring distances and depths and tracking compass headings. We can’t wait to add their final project to our site library. // #PADI #SCUBA

This afternoon, Salma S and Allie M became Semper DIVE!’s newest Open Water Divers. Congratulations, Divers!

Another day of great diving for Semper DIVE! Yesterday, we headed out at #cardiffbeach in #Encinitas for a nice morning dive. There was next to no surf to get past (great for divers, disappointing to out surfing brothers and sisters), making it easy for us to swim out. We dropped down in about 15 fsw and headed out until we had to head back. It wasn't the best day for colorful life, but any day under water is incredible! #SCUBA #Encinitas #Diving #PADI

Yesterday, we dove #GrandviewBeach in #Leucadia. Surface conditions were beautiful and the water was unusually warm, even at depth. It didn’t quite translate underwater where visibility was limited and we didn’t spot much to photograph. Still, it was a great dive and any day blowing bubbles under water is a great day! #SCUBA #Encinitas #Diving #PADI

Surf is a little too big for diving today, but chilling around the pool and relaxing on the 4th of July works too!

What a great way to start #FathersDay - with a #FatherSon dive! Conditions were excellent and I had an awesome buddy!

This morning Mike S, Christy L and I met up at #LaJollaShores to test out some new gear and see the thousands of tuna crab. We swam out from #VallecitosStreet and dropped down over the ledge to see... tuna crab carcasses and a few random live tuna crab. So, we went a little deeper and further north and found... the nothing. Unfortunately, we missed out on seeing the tuna crab gathering in the thousands this season. But, we had a great dive and enjoyed the new gear. Visibility was about 20', there was some surf getting out, but not too bad at all. Once again, Mike S and I headed out to #Swamis in #Encinitas for an early morning dive - this time, Mike's daughter went with us! When we hit the water the surf was about 1-2'. Over the course of the dive, the surge got a little stronger and when we surfaced the surf had picked up as well. Visibility was about 15' and we had a great time! Not too many photos today - it's hard to steady for a shot in strong surge! I got a nice pic of Mike and his daughter! Heading out again tomorrow! #DawnPatrol #ScubaCA #DivingSoCal
