Meet Dr. Ryan Yuan, O.D. our newest Associate Doctor! He is a former student of the beloved Dr. Patrick Yoshinaga, O.D. and is joining the team on Saturdays. I asked Dr. Yuan a couple of questions to give patients a chance to get to know him a little better: Q: Why did you choose to become an optometrist? A: In college, two main experiences led me to pursue the field of optometry. The first experience was shadowing my local optometrist. Seeing him faithfully and skillfully se...rve his patients was an inspiration to me. The second experience was when I went on a medical missions trip to Vietnam. As part of the optometry team, my eyes were opened to see the impact that clear vision can make on someone's life. As an optometrist, I hope to provide the same quality and compassionate care to each and every patient that I interact with. Q: What do you enjoy most about optometry? A: Through optometry, I enjoy the ability to serve others through caring for their ocular health and providing patients with the best vision possible. Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
