This is an educational post. For me, that is. Reaching out to all you metal heads outs there. Does anyone have experience putting mortise lock sets into steel frames? This is my third time and while the outer lock set holes are pretty easy to drill, cutting out the rectangle for the lock set is challenging to say the least. I’m looking for tools and methods to improve my craft. Currently using a drill and dermal toolset to get the job done.
