Sistah’s of the Drum Come Celebrate Our 22nd Year Anniversary Saturday, October 3rd 2020 As we all know, this year has been different for all of us. We have had to put our in person gatherings on hold due to the pandemic. We have been committed to keep the rhythmic energy alive and connected.... We are knowing the importance of honoring the circle and our sisters. We have tossed around numerous ideas of how and where to hold an abbreviated version of our Anniversary circle. We also realize that we are missing the community connection and finalized our decision . Let's all gather at our Anniversary space at the bay (Behind Paradise Point)as it is familiar and it will be like coming home. Due to the pandemic we will not be holding our awesome potluck so please bring your refreshments. We will be honoring social distancing so please be respectful of personal boundaries and also wear your mask. Ask first before hugging or touching anyone. Just know that if you are uncomfortable being in circle there is plenty of space outside circle and still be connected. During this gathering, Monette and I will be facilitating the honoring of 2 of our sistahs who have recently made their transition. We love and will miss you both!! Hello to our Sistahs of the Drum, Wowza, missing you all so very much. This time in our lives was truly unexpected and I hope we are all adjusting to the best of our ability.... Some of you may have noticed but, I completely lost track of my days and drum circle Saturday came and went. OOOOPS Yep, had one of those human moments. Our drum circle has been an important gathering for many people and 22 years strong. As I'm typing this, it's bringing tears to my eyes and I truly miss our connections and the healthy outlet of drumming. During this time we have been launching a brief version of our circle facebook live monthly from Harrison Serenity ranch to stay connected. We will do the same this Saturday. This brings me to an idea we are tossing around... Our 22nd year anniversary is approaching quickly and need to make a decision re our celebration. I am sending this out on group level as this is OUR circle. I have not checked in with the park service near the bay for availablity but some of us were having a different thought for this year. What would you feel if we held our anniversary circle at the ranch this year on Palomar mountain and hold circle earlier in case you wanted to come for the day?? Options for staying for the day or the night camping, glamping or RV and maybe create a mini experience, hiking, yoga, ??? As stated, we are just playing with a few ideas. Another topic that needs to be discussed ...we have a monthly insurance expense with absolutely zero income. For those who feel the call, we could use the support of contributions until we can gather. We thank you all for your continued support throughout the years. Ways to contribute: Venmo: Vicki Morgan @ Vicki-Morgan-16 (make sure you add Drum Circle in "What's it for??" to make sure it's deposited in correct account.) Check: San Diego Womens Drum Circle Mailed to: 4815 33rd St San Diego, Ca 92116 Keep in mind all donations are tax deductible. In the meantime...We will be drumming from the mtn top this Saturday September 5th live on facebook @5pm. So much love to all of you!!!! Blessed Beats Always!! Vicki Morgan 619 884-9431

Hello to the Sistah's of the Drum, We miss OUR sacred monthly gathering together as we always come together to raise the vibration with the beat of the drum. We are still unable to join at the John D Spreckels Masonic Center this month. We will be drumming on FB Live at Harrison Serenity Ranch. Vicki Morgan will facilitate. Joining us again is Maria Kostelas with her magical flute, Sherry O'Hara with her beautiful voice, Helen K Coyne playing Dundun and Lauren Grace with her amazing voice singing a chant. We will be outdoors and social distancing and sharing rhythm.
