Pretty good public service message from a mare

Hello SDTH friends. After much consideration, SDTH is suspending all participant activities for the safety, health and lives of our participants, volunteers, staff and the community. As a small non-profit this is going to be a tough go for us but with everyone’s continued support we will hopefully make it through and be back to providing healing, growth and inspiration in the not too distant future.... On a daily basis the horses are being looked after and cared for by Ainslie and Francesca. The horses do miss the social interactions with all their human friends and they look forward to seeing everyone again. Paddington especially misses his chin scratches. We will keep all our clients, volunteers, supporters and alumnae in our thoughts. If anyone needs anything - please reach out and give us the opportunity to help! Keep safe.

Just a few pictures from our current veteran group. Just finishing the 5 week series this coming Friday with a trail ride! Thanks Paula for the pictures!

Saturday was our veteran orientation day, where interested veterans were encouraged to come out, meet the horses , volunteers and find out about the program. ... The veterans got to groom, use the masterson method, learn to lead the horses and to ask questions. It was a great day for everyone.
