Today, interest rates are in the low 3% making it a great time to purchase a home. In San Diego County, inventory still remains extremely low and therefore prices are unlikely to drop. As we’ve seen in the weekly updates I’ve posted on real estate numbers in SD County, the virus has also had no impact so far on purchases. Your interest rate being low is a huge benefit and will lower your monthly mortgage by hundreds of dollars compared to a higher interest rate. Have you had talked to a lender to find out what you qualify for and what that monthly mortgage looks like?
