One of the most life-changing activities I was a part of was creating a peer-model support program with Veterans for Veterans...my little effort doesn't compare to your service #trulygrateful #VeteransDay Carol Sampaga
I may be in another place in my Journey of Impacting Lives, but I'm feeling nostalgic... How have you done since you were last here in the Academic Skills Center? Carol Sampaga #celebrateSuccess
In 2016, I had to leave Mesa to take care of my father who passed in May. It was my calling at that time as with all of the years serving students from 2004-2016 at Mesa. It's truly been my honor. This page is Inactive but being kept for sentimental purposes for all students who we made differences--transfer, basic skills, Athletes, Veterans, Dis(Cap)Able, Career...all who entered our doors! On behalf of my former Staff, and from my heart, it was a pleasure to help you on your journey! Always Make It A Great Day and a Difference in someone's Life!....Carol Sampaga (Better "ASC" Somebody!)
The Academic Skills Center will be reopening on the first day of the semester, January 25, 2016. If you would like to work in the ASC, Writing Center, Veterans Resource Center, or Languages Center, enroll in Education 100 (Tutor Training), CRN 20312 for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) majors; CRN 90263 for all others. Flexible scheduling, starting pay about $10.00/hour, and the best benefit....making a difference for someone else's success!
Fear can be debilitating. Thankful we were able to turn on the Light for many again, helping to overcome Fear and Motivate towards Success! Another semester has come to a close. We hope you learned not only academics, but of what You truly are capable...as long as you put Your Mind to it and follow through with your best Efforts! cs #MakingADifference #UntilNextTime
