Dear The Laundry Room community, We've all had to make some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As we try to return to some normalcy, we are returning to our standard business hours. Starting May 18, 2020, we will be open from 6:30am - 11pm Monday through Sunday.... What we are doing differently onsite: All of our employees will wear face coverings and rubber gloves when processing dropped off laundry. We ask all customer entering the laundromat to wear face coverings as well. We will keep gatherings in compliance with San Diego Health Department recommendations. We've establish new laundromat cleaning protocols in compliance with CDC recommendations to ensure cleanliness. The Laundry Room Rewards As a way to give back to the our valued customers, The Laundry Room offers customer's check-in rewards. To date we have been using the traditional paper punch card reward system. This requires customers to find the attendant and ask for a punch. Sometimes this is not an easy task when the attendant is busy. So, we are going to try a new electronic reward system called SpotOn. ... You grab a card, scan it on our SpotOn Tablet to register. When you return, scan it and start collecting points toward cool rewards at The Laundry Room as well as at neighboring businesses. When you have earned points that you want to redeem, the attendant will then assist. And the cool thing, you can use the same card at other businesses who use SpotOn. We will test it out and see if it works better than the paper punch cards. If you like, we will keep it! Look for it in the next week or so.
