Calling out to all San Diego licensed funeral directors! The Cemetery and Funeral Bureau is now sending out letters to recruit licensed funeral directors to participate as subject matter experts for an occupational analysis and examination development workshop. Keep an eye out for this letter in the mail if you are interested in participating. Our participation can make a difference for the next generation of licensed funeral directors. Represent San Diego's passion and dedication for the funeral proffesion!

the NFDA's annual "Meet the Mentors" program took place this month and 50 funeral directors walked away with valuable information and advice from professionals in the industry. Every year 50 licensed funeral directors 40 yrs of age and under are selected to attend this event. The photo below shows funeral directors from all over the United States and even one person from Singapore! 3 mentors very graciously share their experiences and advice to these young professionals. If you're a young and licensed funeral professional be sure to register for a chance to attend the next event!
