This year's board applications were truly impressive and we are confident that our next board will continue to build on our accomplishments! We would also like to thank our current board for the incredible work they did this year. As we celebrate 50 years since our founding, we have been truly honored to help our community and our fellow law students.... As times continue to change, we will continue to promote our mission in promoting diversity in the profession and reaching out to the local community! Greeting's SC Law Community, Due to recent guidelines implemented by Santa Clara University and Santa Clara County, the following events have been postponed or cancelled: The annual La Raza Law Student Banquet originally scheduled for Saturday April 4th has been postponed for sometime this Fall. Those who bought tickets online will receive refunds through the credit card used for the purchase.... La Raza Law Student's Bridge to Justice, our semi-annual legal aid clinic scheduled for March 28th, has been cancelled. The clinic will resume again in the next academic year. Thank you to all of those who have supported La Raza Law Students this year. We hope to join you all in celebrating our community's accomplishments in the near future. Today we’re celebrating Black History Month at this special event put on by BLSA! Enjoy FREE soul food, TODAY Feb. 18 in Charney 101 at 12pm, while listening to a panel of diverse attorneys share their experiences in the legal profession and encounters with implicit bias.
