Screen Actors System

You might not be as hardcore as these stunt players we shot today... BUT IF PERFORMING in the feature film "Boomer" is calling you it's the last chance this week! ACTORS / STUNT PERFORMERS IN VEGAS we are blowing shiz up at Nelson Ghost Town starting at 9:30 am Thursday and Friday (tomorrow and the next day). What ever your skill level, if you have any tactical gear / airsoft guns and or can dress like a tough mercenary you are welcome to join in the fun!!! Details below. ...Just show up. We had a GREAT TURNOUT WEDNESDAY and we are rocking it for a couple more days. Hey guys! This is all the info you need to come be a featured part of a legendary action scene in the feature film "Boomer" tomorrow. We will be doing an endless amount of stunts under Allen Woodman's supervision. Gun fights, fist fights, falls, you name it. The footage is being shot on the Arri Alexa Studio camera (the exact same camera that shot Blade Runner 2049) and you will get IMDB credit for acting and stunts and a deferred payment of $250 per day. The last film I shot this way was on Showtime and Netflix so the future is bright for the project. More importantly what we are going to do will kick some serious ass! ALL THE INFO: TIME: 9:30am to 6pm WHERE: NELSON Ghost Town 16880 NV-165, Searchlight, NV 89046 PARKING: Please park in the overflow lot behind the barn. Once you arrive please come find a military Hummer parked just west of this crashed airplane: The Hummer will be parked next to the mad max double decker busses across the street from the gift shop. Once you park and find this spot ,gather up and get your paperwork filled out ASAP. Someone with the production will be there to help you. COSTUME: You will be playing hired mercenaries who are double crossing our leads. So you are tough, former military. Go with tactical gear if you have it. Think militia. Camo, etc. DO BRING WEAPONS but only fake knives please. Airsoft is preferred for guns. BRING SCARF, MASKS, HATS and different changes of clothes. The idea is to be able to change your look and "re-spawn" to do another stunt or two even after your character has been killed. WHAT ELSE TO BRING: Sunscreen. Bottled Water (we may run out). Eat a big lunch or breakfast before you come as we will not be stopping for a meal. If you know you need to eat snacks for energy, bring what holds you over for 6hrs. BRING A TOWEL so you can rinse off if you get bloody or dirty. This is going to be epic and amazing! You are all part of a great film and I'm proud to have you there! See you tomorrow or Friday:)

ATTENTION! FILM MIXER THIS AFTERNOON! There is a party today at a new production company here in town. We were just talking about networking in class this week and becoming more known in the community. This is a great chance to do just that if you can make it out. Should be many filmmakers there for you to get to know. This is a who you know town to be sure. But just come to have fun. There is a phone number where you can RSVP but from my experience these things are p...retty loose and you can easily just walk in. The flyer says you are welcome. I imagine the Vegas film community will turn out for this so if you can make it out COME! Since I passed on the info just tell any actors you are from the best acting class in Vegas, Ryan R. Williams class at Screen Actors System, and since I'm going to roll through for an hour or so toward the end I will hype you guys to any filmmakers. "BOOMER" making dreams come true, ha ha! Always wanted to film a good old fashioned rumble in an industrial area at night. Great work everyone! PS We are looking for featured players (Males and Females any age) for an improv scene in a strip club this Monday that will not require any stunts. You will all have a shot at getting a speaking role since it's is improv! The pay on this is deferred but a good time will be had by all:) YOU WILL GET IMDB CREDIT and solid Alexa footage.... HEY EVERYONE! This is a visual effects test for the feature I am directing "BOOMER." I am also a one man crew and doing all the production / post production / effects / sound all by my lonesome.
