STAND-UP COMEDY WORKSHOP WITH GRADUATION SHOW begins its spring semester - online - on Wednesday March 10th and runs for 7 weeks. If you want to start a career as a stand-up or you're already a comedian and want to sharpen your writing and performing chops or learning all about stand-up comedy is on your bucket list THIS IS THE CLASS FOR YOU! And for those of you who’ve always wanted to take my stand-up class, but travel to the Santa Monica campus was the deal breaker, THI...S IS THE CLASS FOR YOU, TOO! And BTW, despite the online format, in addition to the writing, the class will thoroughly cover the performing aspects of stand-up. As to the grad show, last year’s sessions celebrated their graduation shows online. Hopefully the Improv will again be hosting shows by May. That said, stand-up comedy is booming online and our online grad shows have been very successful. We've had (virtual) packed houses and lots of (entirely audible) laughter.
