Regarding the Boulder Creek Fire that started last night in the Santa Cruz mountains; Our campus is well away from the area of threat. According to the Division Chief on the fire, we have nothing to worry about in Corralitos. We will proceed with this week's program as planned.
Banana slugs are coated with a liquid crystal ooze that solves many problems they face in the forest -- and maybe some of our own. Share with your UC Santa Cruz friends!
