Spectroscopes allow you to see how white light is made up of a whole spectrum of colors. As part of our Reading Colors Your World summer programming for school-age children, SCCLD's STEAM Club is offering a video showing you how to make a spectroscope. This video will premiere on the SCCLD page of Facebook on Tuesday, July 6th at 3 p.m. or view all the STEAM Club videos at any time after the events at Kids STEAM Club. There are special kits available while supplies last at th...e SCCLD libraries, and here are some supplies to gather if you don't have these kits: paper towel tube aluminum foil diffraction sheet (available through this link) tape (masking or clear) scissors
