In addition, his son Alvin served in the Army during the Vietnam war. We were lucky enough for them to return safely as others were not as fortunate. Due to COVID-19, we are having to change the way we operate our business. Starting this week, we will be limiting the number of customers allowed in our store at one time. Each store will have an employee at the entrance to manage this safety protocol, so please be patient with our staff. We want to stay open for our community but we need to ensure the safety of our employee's health to the best of our ability. We will continue to be open 8:30am-5:30pm at the Carmel store on Saturdays, and 8am-5pm at Carmel Valley. As of today, Monterey County has issued a shelter in place in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a retail hardware store we are deemed an essential business and will remain open. Both of our Carmel Ace locations will be open regular business hours at this time. We understand that these next weeks will come with various challenges.
