Check out this clip where Dr. Jacob Torres, Head Researcher at Santa Barbara Nutrients, interviews Professor Dr. Roman-Ulrich Müller about eGFR fluctuations and kidney function loss over time. Müller is the Deputy Director, Internal Medicine (Nephrology), of the University Hospital Cologne, Germany, and his team manages one of the largest ADPKD patient cohorts in Europe. In the full interview, Müller shares his deep knowledge about dietary interventions for kidney disease, understanding lab test results for eGFR and creatinine, and his latest research for the treatment of ADPKD. Dear Friends and Supporters, As you may know, we have been working with a fantastic team of experienced renal dietitians who have developed a plant-focused, sci...ence-based ketogenic diet program specifically for people with PKD. The program is called Ren.Nu (Renal Nutrition, rhymes with renew!) and the website has just launched. Check it out for more information. This is a 12-week program to learn how to follow a kidney-safe, plant-focused ketogenic diet which includes support and guidance from a renal dietitian. Prior to its full launch, the Ren.Nu program is running a beta test. If you are interested to be in the beta test group, please sign up on the website. The program is accepting only 15 people with PKD for the beta test. GFR must be >30 for this initial best test. Applications will be open until Wednesday Feb 24. Applicants will be informed by Mar 1 if they are accepted into the program. Cost of program will be $600 and includes KetoCitra for the length of the program. Instructor will be Diana Bruen. Other details about the program are on the webpage. Please note that this is NOT a clinical trial. This is an opportunity for people with PKD, who are highly motivated to use dietary approaches, to be the first to participate in this innovative program and help to improve it with your feedback.
