The San Bernardino City USD Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been busy this week managing resources, school closures. Fires, air quality, evacuation center...s and filling needs for the IT Ransomware attack, #OldWaterFire and Southern California Edison (SCE) Public Safety Power Shutoffs(PSPS). A big thanks to all our partners who helped us keep schools running for our kids and investigating the crime against us. Due to upcoming potentially dangerous weather conditions in fire-prone areas, Southern California Edison (SCE) may need to call a Public Safety Power Shutoff (P...SPS) event. During these events, SCE will proactively turn off power in high fire risk areas to reduce the threat of wildfires. Currently, there are no Public Safety Power Shutoffs that have been initiated by SCE.
