A father said to his daughter "You just graduated, this is a car I bought a while ago... It is a few years old. But before I give it, take it to a car dealer ...in the city and sell it , see how much they offer. The girl came back to her father and said: "They offered 1000 euros because it looks very old" The father said: Hold it and take it to the 2nd hand car dealer. The girl returns to her father and says: "The pawn shop offered 100 euros because it is a very old car and lots of investments are needed to drive it again" The father asked his daughter to join a passionate car club with experts and show them the car. The girl drove the car to the passionate car club, turned and said to her father: Some people in the club offered me 100,000 euros because it is a rare car that is in good condition, with great capabilities and super difficult to find. Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place." If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place. "Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value ." Post from Sarah Makwela

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the c...offee? "Because someone bumped into you, right?! No, not really. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled. So we have to ask ourselves... what's in my cup?" When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions? Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others. Author unknown See more

There are times, for a number of reasons, when a ewe will give birth to a lamb and reject it. Even if you try to bring the lamb back to its mother, the mother m...ay even kick the poor animal away. Once a ewe rejects one of her lambs, she will never change her mind. These little lambs will hang their heads so low that it looks like something is wrong with its neck. Their spirit is broken. These lambs are called bummer lambs. Unless a caring shepherd intervenes, that lamb will die, alone and rejected. But a caring shepherd will take the rejected little one into his home, hand-feeds it and keep it warm by the fire. He will wrap it up with blankets and hold it to his chest so the "bummer lamb" can hear his heartbeat. When the baby lamb grows strong enough, the shepherd will place it back with the rest of the flock. But that former "bummer lamb" never forgets how the shepherd cared for him when his mother rejected him. When the shepherd calls for the flock, guess who runs to him first? That is right, the bummer lamb. He knows the shepherd's voice intimately. It’s not that it is loved more, it just believes it because it has experienced that love one on one. So many of us are bummer lambs, rejected and broken. But He is the good Shepherd. He cares for our every need and holds us close to His heart so we can hear His heartbeat. We may be broken but we are deeply loved by the Shepherd.

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh. There was a pause. "Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.... "No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do." "That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend. "What are you doing?" asked Pooh. "Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either. "But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh." And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right." A.A. Milne Sending thoughts to those having a Difficult Day today and hope you have your own Piglet to sit beside you

A father said to his daughter: You graduated with honors, here is a car that I acquired many years ago ... it is several years old. But before I give ...it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them I want to sell it and see how much they offer you. The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, "They offered me $1,000 because it looks very worn out." The father said, "Take him to the pawn shop." The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father and said, "The pawn shop offered $100 because it was a very old car." The father asked his daughter to go to a car club and show them the car. The daughter took the car to the club, returned and told her father, Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it since it is a Nissan Skyline R34, an iconic car and sought after by many." The father said to his daughter, "I wanted you to know that the right place values you the right way." If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you. Never stay in a place where no one sees your value. See more
