Happy Father’s Day to all those celebrating this special day! Despite the WIC name, dads have always been a part of the WIC family. Dads and father figures caring for children are welcome at WIC too. WIC celebrates all nurturers, caregivers, and guardians of our children.... Fathers really are irreplaceable! #Dads usually play more lively and energetic games with their #kids. These play activities help children build large muscle skills. This helps children learn how to regulate their emotions and bodies. This even affects their self-confidence in positive ways. These are just some of the reasons why dads are important within the #family. Visit the Inland Empire Father Involvement Coalition on Facebook (@iefathers) for resources and events just for dads and father-figures!
