Cigarettes claim 4x more lives by secondhand smoke alone each year! That is other people who don't smoke being murdered by smokers. According to the CDC an estimated 41,000 deaths each year among adults (that doesn't even count children) die from second hand smoke (murdered by other people's decisions to smoke). According to the FBI, 2016 showed the highest number of gun deaths at 10,372. While all unnecessary death is tragic, let us put things into perspective and prioritize things a bit.
