UPDATE... Sometimes the food gods smile upon us and keep things from getting sideways. It seems we have a little buying power. So we actually have the correct product as of this evening. So oddly enough nevermind the previous post. I rarely walk back from anything but this time I am a-ok with this. #ribs #saucebelly... Supply Chain Blues... For those of you that have enjoyed our Ribs from day one. Know that we had to switch to the larger format Baby Backs which we hall have come to enjoy. But as fate would have it. We've come to the end of that supply. Could we switch to another large format Rib? Sure. Would it be the same high quality protein? No. Those were as good as it gets. So now what? We still had a great relationship with the farm that had supplied us the Danish Baby Back Ribs. They're smaller but mighty damn tasty. But most importantly the quality is there. Why not got to a St Louis style Rib? No. Just no. Our guest aren't keen on the connective tissues and cartilage. The Baby Back is a better eating experience. So we are back with the smaller format Ribs. What does it all mean? Well basically you end up getting 2 racks on all the platters. Back to take-out only. Cant say we didn't see this coming. In the next few weeks, we are going to make some menu changes, drink specials, and kick winter right in it's ass. Then it's a hard run till spring. We can do it. All of us. Kicking and screaming together. Every local spot right now needs some love. Big shout to the gang at Waterdog Tavern we love you guys! Somehow we ended up on postmates. We do not nor will we ever use a delivery service. Period. **If you order through a third party app you will go hungry.** As we do not do business with any of them. They've been asked to remove us. We asked nicely too.
