If I were giving awards for the smiliest baby of the year, Sophia would definitely be a winner. So happy we were able to capture her beautiful smiles during her first photo shoot. She is just nine days old and such a happy baby! I’m sure these smiles will make her mommy smile too :)

Sweet baby girl Syra was happily dreaming away during her first photo shoot. I’m pretty sure her favorite part was snuggling with her gorgeous Mama :)

How gorgeous is this mama to be? Despite the foggy and cold weather, we still had an amazing time capturing her baby bump. I can’t wait to meet and photograph the little one soon.

How adorable is this little munchkin? Sweet baby girl Aria was ready to party during her session but took a little nap eventually. She is used to some action in this world already. Getting evacuated during the Montecito mudslides made posing for a few photos seem like a piece of cake. I’m sure Aria and her super awesome parents are ready for many more great adventures together :)

Oh we had so much fun with Layla, documenting her first cake smash. Her doggie brother Odin has been by Layla’s side ever since she was born, so of course, he had to help her with some celebrating and cake-eating. It was a little tense at first but they decided to share after all. The first photo is one of my favorites, their expression is just priceless :)

Not only spring is in the air, but also a whole lot of love! Ted contacted me to photograph his surprise proposal to his girlfriend Carly. His master plan worked out perfectly, and of course, she said YES at one of the most beautiful beaches in Santa Barbara. Those two are a very sweet couple and it was really special to document such a happy milestone in their lives. I must say, it was so much fun working as an invisible paparazzi on a wide open beach :)

Spring is slowly rolling in and it was a perfect afternoon to play in Golden Gate park. I have been photographing this beautiful family since Joshua was a baby. Now he is in charge of being a big brother and just adores his little sister. Sweet Juno is growing up fast too - she is one already!

Sweet baby boy Noah is just a few weeks old and he is up for all kinds of adventures already! When he is not in charge as The Little Chief, he is all ready for some horseback riding or snuggles in his parents’ hands :)

Oh what a fun photo session with these adorable twins! They were snuggling and posing like pros. Their daddy works for the Santa Barbara Country Fire Department so we had to get his little heroes nice and comfy in his uniform.

Sweet baby girl Emma is such a perfect little bundle! Just a few days new, she came with her wonderful parents to my Carpinteria studio for her newborn photo session. She was taking a few mini naps and comfortably dreaming away. And while she was awake, we were able to capture some nice photos with her eyes wide open. Emma is definitely ready to see the world!

Baby boy Javier did such a good job snuggling his big sister and a cute teddy bear during his first photo session. Such a sweetie, he rocked the shoot!

This adorable princess just turned one! We had so much fun documenting Aria’s special milestone with a cake smash photo session in my studio. After all the cake and dress up fun, we headed to the beach for a few quick portraits in the beautiful sunshine.

Turning one is so much fun!! And the best part - celebrating with a cake smash in style! Elias is so adorable in this fun outfit his mom picked out for him. Don’t you just want to squeeze him (and eat some cake)? :)
