I’m always looking for new ways to stay inspired creatively. Do you ever see a print and it kind of changes the rest of your life? That's this print for me. After swooning over Dolce + Gabana's Positano inspired collection, when I went to Italy and saw this tile facade in person I nearly fainted. It's perfect and beautiful and will never ever stop inspiring me. Do you have a print or place like that?

Are you ready for a WILD story?!? This image is a flyer I found randomly in @nordstrom on the day I was deciding whether or not I should move to LA. I was really unsure of the move, and truth be told, ignored my gut and went along with it anyway. Fast forward a year and I had fallen in love with the west coast and being so close to my family but for other reasons was packing up to move back to NYC. (This is where it gets REALLY crazy!) On the day of the move almost everything... was packed into the van except a little table stool. And I kid you not, when I picked up the stool, the LAST thing to go into the van, this flyer from a year before fell out. I have no idea how it got there but this time it really felt like the universe calling out to me and I decided to stay in LA the best decision I've ever made. Today, I’ve officially made the decision to move back home to Arizona, buy a house and I can't help but think it was all meant to be. I have met new incredible people, learned to feel safe with vulnerability and opened myself up to loving others in a way I didn't even know was possible. So take the risk... follow your heart, say what you need to say, trust your gut and know that if something doesn’t sit right, you always can change it. AND obviously a really good kismet moment doesn't hurt Have you ever had the universe screaming so loudly at you that you just had to listen? I'd love to hear about it! See more

Do you guys think that when it comes to creating, two heads are better than one or it’s too many cooks in the kitchen? I’ve learned that my best work is always when I’m in an open and safe environment where I’m free to throw out any and all ideas, knowing that it may not be perfect but together we get to an awesome outcome. I’m looking at you @amorology @backupbackdrops I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I differ from a planner when it comes to producing sty...led editorials and why you may need both of us. The answer is simple: I’m not a planner! Before I can do my job, I need them to do what they do best design an incredible concept with awesome details. My skill set is bringing a strategy to that content we are creating and making sure we have everything we need to market those images + videos after the shoot is finished. If you’re wanting to get published, I make sure editors have the shots they need. If you’re needing images for your new website or social media, I find a unique way to use them and then make sure we get those shots! I am constantly looking for sources of inspiration everywhere in my day-to-day life. I tend to feel the most inspired by flowers There always seems to be one that fits my mood and brings back a memory for me to cherish. Before working at The Knot, I really only thought there were a few florals to choose from that were pretty- peonies, garden roses and lilies. Flash forward a few years, I’ve gotten to watch talented florists in their element and learn from them. I’m def...initely not an expert but it’s safe to say it’s now hard to choose a favorite! Happy Monday! A quick shout out to my new followers! I'm pretty darn grateful to these gorgeous resin popsicle escort cards for bringing you to me! We have received so much love for this concept that we did for @showitunited in 2019. For this shoot I was inspired by the Amalfi Coast after going for a wedding with @amorology and @rebeccayale, who happens to be the photographer mastermind behind this photo. It's one of my favorite places in the world and heavily inspired the orange and bright blue color combination. The incredible popsicle designer @ciecilpaperco conceptualized + created these beauties! Maybe I can convince her to send some of these my way they sure would help beat the 116 degree AZ summer heat!

When I was 3 years old my grandma K-mom took me to Diana’s, a little diner in Port Huron Michigan, for pancakes every Saturday. A year later Diana’s closed but K-mom managed to get the recipe from the owner so on Saturday mornings we could still make pancakes. My Saturdays are always going to look a little different now without her but I’m so very glad I’ve got those memories to remember every time I take a bite of those pancakes

Easter looked a bit different this year with COVID-19 as I’m sure it did for many of us. This year, my family and I tried to recreate our traditions as best we could, even though we were not able to all be together. We jumped on a giant zoom call and screen shared a virtual church service, popped some champs from @tarbellsrestaurant for brunch and did some cooking decorating with @ruzecakehouse goodies! I’m feeling very grateful that we were all still able to see each other and have remained safe and healthy. Happy Easter everyone! #easter2020 #stayhome #stayinspeakout
