Introducing the new Yoga instructor at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar! I will be teaching Wednesday morning at 8:00 am for a Yoga Flow, Thursday 8 am for a Restorative stretch and 9:15 am for Vinyasa flow! My favorite. Namaste . Classes are available to anyone who books a spa service or salon service at the Grand. Let’s get this minds and body’s in for some R and R!

Good morning everyone. I wanted to address the issue of some people saying they are really sore from there workouts. One very good vegetable that can be used to combat many things is Celery. Celery is very high in chlorophyll which helps cleanse the blood. Since muscles are blood filled tissues it can help reduce inflammation. It’s also rich in antioxidants and antimutagenic. Very rich in magnesium which helps you calm down and sleep better. Eliminates toxins from the body an...d reduces water weight. Celery is also very hydrating. It’s 95% water! Yeah more water. With electrolytes that are vital for proper hydration and cellular functions. Celery is packed with alkaline minerals- potassium, magnesium, sodium, and iron very important for many body functions. The sodium in celery is soluble and organic so it’s much more absorbable. Vit K and Vit C! You can get just strait chlorophyll from your local vitamin isle as well. Mix it in with your protein shake! Have a great workout! Recovery is just as important as working out and I think it’s over looked and not discussed enough for athletes. See more
