In 1952, Sarkis Sarabian was drafted to the United States Army His training started at Fort Ord and soon after he was sent off to serve our country. Sarkis served for 2 years in Germany before he was Honorably Discharged and returned home. Today marks 105 years since the Armenian Genocide. Our company stands here today, because of the sacrifices and ambition Serop and Badaskan Sarabian had (Serop- right, Badaskan- middle). Serop was 1 out of 4 to survive the genocide. Whereas his wife Badaskan, was 1 of 3 to survive out of a family of 6. After surviving the genocide the two had an arranged marriage, where they had one son named Sarkis (left). The 3 of them worked around the clock farming and trying to build the family business. 4 generations later and our company is still striving with that same ambition.
