i’ve been searching for some time

SAHARA + KELVIN There's no doubt that the pandemic has put an immense strain on relationships, but there's nothing that brings joy like seeing the couples that are continuing to choose love and persevere. In the midst of all the chaos of the world, I don't know if I've ever photographed a couple that exuded as much joy (and fun!) as Sahara and Kelvin. Their love was so effortless it made my job look like a breeze. I think we could all use some of their energy in our life.

the other side of summer

I was waiting for the perfect time to post this for marketing purposes, but it’s looking like it’s not going to be anytime soon. So here it is: I have some BIG news. After a VERY long and overdue wait, in February, I finally upgraded from my Canon 60D to a Sony A7iii. For the past year, I felt un-inspired to shoot because I couldn’t execute my art the way I envisioned in my head because of the limits of my equipment. This left me frustrated and sad because it was less-than... quality than what I knew my art really was. But from the encouragement of my loved ones, I finally took a leap to make one of my first ever BIG big girl purchases to invest into a new camera, and it has revived my love for shooting + creating and more. I hate that this virus had to come soon after I was just starting to shoot again, but I am beyond excited to share my work I captured previously. Never have I ever cried over my photos, but working with this camera has done that, and I can’t wait to show you why. Here’s to GLOWING UP.
