Join us June 24th for a Zoom interactive career exploration program where girls will work with professionals from various industries and learn about different c...areer paths. During the program girls will use games and activities to help them acquire skills needed for life after high school, including financial literacy skills, communication, and decision-making skills. This program is in partnership with RSM, an international audit, tax, audit, and consulting services company. This is an Emerging Leaders event, GSGLA’s premier older girl experience, and is open to girls in grades 7-12 (Girl Scout membership is not required). October is Girl Empowerment Month, dedicated to introducing girls in public schools across Los Angeles County to career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). We need more female voices in STEM! Women hold only 25 percent of all STEM occupations; Latinas and Black women hold only 1 percent and 3 percent of these jobs, respectively.
