Who knew a bunny would bring so much joy to a little girl with a broken heart. After we lost Sienna, Savana would beg us for a bunny. She wanted one to match our Sienna stuffed bunny. We gave in and surprised her with Hunny. It was the best decision. It helped her broken heart. Gave her some happiness. ... Of course we had to bring Hunny the bunny for Savana’s birthday session. Just a girl and her bunny.

That golden hour light

Something a little different tonight.

I lost myself last year. Drowning in grief. Losing a child changes you. Breaks you down. Tears you apart. A piece missing that can never be fixed. I needed to find something that made me happy. Give back a little spark. I decided to shoot for myself. Push myself to pick up my camera. Even on the hard days. I love it. ... I am capturing moments for me. Happy moments. Sad moments. Small and big moments. Raw moments. I can’t wait to share.
