Proud to announce that the SAPP team has received a commendation from Alameda County supervisor David Haubert along with the rest of the Board of Supervisors for our period poverty work in regards to advocacy, service, and education so far! SAPP has achieved so much since the beginnings of our founding and we are so honored to be recognized by them!!

Thank you so much to the two guest speakers that came to our SLS kickoff event on 6/28/21! Both made really well-put presentations on period poverty and it’s effects on our communities. We hope all attendees learned extensively how pressing period poverty is and that attendees feel empowered to fight for menstrual equity. Onward to the rest of the week for the SLS!!
