In 2020 we were all met with a series of hardships no one could have predicted, it forced you to change your way of living, how you raise your families, and how you work day in day out. Everything changed for you but not for your First Responders. They rose to the occasion to protect and serve on the frontlines risking their health every day! Now you have the opportunity to give back! Donate Today: https://santarosapoa.firstresponderprocessing.com/ If you’ve been looking for... a chance to support those who are willing to risk their lives for your community then this is your moment! It’s a chance to not only say thank you to those dedicated to your community but to help support their causes. Every year associations give back to support local charities, rebuild playgrounds for your children, elevate youth sports programs or scholarships, and fund events that give officers the opportunity to connect with you on a personal level. This is YOUR chance to not only say THANK YOU but to help foster a better neighborhood for you and your loved ones. Giving back today creates change for tomorrow - Act now, Donate today. #GiveBack

It is with a heavy heart that The Riverside Police Officers' Association informs you of the passing of Riverside Police Detective Ronel Newton. Please help us support his family and friends through this difficult experience. Donate Today: https://rpoanewton.firstresponderprocessing.com/ Detective Newton is the second Riverside Police Det...ective to pass away from cancer in 2020 and his passing comes only 55 days after the passing of Detective Aaron Brandt on August 20, 2020. This is another tremendous loss to our Law Enforcement family in a year which has proven to be one of the most difficult in recent times. Please keep Detective Newton's family, friends, and all of Law Enforcement in your prayers. ~ Riverside Police Officers' Association Board of Directors The RPOA has partnered with the National 9-99 Police And Sheriff Foundation, a registered 501c3 organization. On August 6, 1993, Nathan Sims shot Long Beach Police Sergeant Abel Dominguez during a traffic stop. Abel was gravely injured but ultimately survived the attack. Abel suffered catastrophic injuries resulting in permanent disabilities. On November 10, 2020, Sims will be going before the Parole Board again for consideration of an early release from his life sentence. We need your help in opposing this early release. Sims has shown no remorse, nor has he taken any responsibility... for his crimes. Please Join Us In Our Opposition to Mr. Sims' Release: https://oneclickpolitics.global.ssl.fastly.net/messag/edit It is imperative that we show our support for the Dominguez family as well as make it clear to the Parole Board that we believe Nathan Sims still presents a danger to society and should serve out the term of life in prison as prescribed by the sentencing court. We kindly ask that you submit the attached letter via this platform to the Board of Parole.

Thank You #NeverForget
Thank you to those who have put their bodies and lives on the line to protect all that this great nation stands for. We salute, honor, and remember all in the armed services who protect our freedom each and every day. Today we will all take a moment to pause and thank each and every one of you that has suffered to protect our home. #PurpleHeartDay
Friends, Many of you have asked how you can help support Chief Navarro and our local Police Officers during this unprecedented moment in our nation. I have been a police officer for over 20 years, and I have never seen the morale of officers so low. Officers feel the constant pressures of the job and face weekly protests at our local Police Department. Some officers are feeling so discouraged they are looking at other jobs outside of law enforcement. Multiplying these...Continue reading
We hope everyone has an incredible and safe #IndependenceDay celebration with their friends and family #4thOfJuly
Thank you so much for your support through the years and in these difficult times. Our officers are deeply grateful for the emails and letters of encouragement that many of you have sent us, not only over the last few weeks but over the years. We believe that the overwhelming majority of our community supports our department. Santa Rosa Police Officers stand firmly against excessive force and racism. We always have. We always will. This can be seen in the highly professional ...Continue reading
School Resource Officers are a huge asset to students...they are not only protectors, but also mentors and friends who work hard to make schools a safe place for all kids and staff. Our schools are in danger of losing their SROs because of a knee jerk political reaction. Please take a moment to read the following post and sign the online petition AND reach out to the school board to keep SROs in our schools!
Today we remember those who bravely set foot on the beaches of Normandy on Tuesday, June 6th 1944 during World War II. They fought for our liberty and freedom knowing full well they may not return to their loved ones. Let's join together to honor, commemorate, and celebrate all that they stood for! #DDayRemembrance #DDay
To our community, We can fight the injustices of inequality and racism together to better our future for the next generation. We understand your pain and want your voice to be heard and understood. We join you in opposing those disrupting civil discourse to further their violent agenda. Together we can unite to reach a common understanding and goal. We want to thank all of those helping us #ProtectThePeace to ensure that those on both sides can go home safely at the end of the day so we can continue the positive conversation for change into tomorrow. Thank you,
