The City of Santa Rosa uses a portion of its federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, local funds, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds to provide annual financial assistance to nonprofit organizations providing eligible services in our community. Governor Brown has extended his anti-price gouging Executive Order through May 31st of 2019. The Santa Rosa City Council on Tuesday extended our local ordinance through October 9th of next year as well.

The City of Santa Rosa Housing Authority is opening the lottery for placement on the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list. The lottery opens May 1, 2018 and closes on May 31, 2018. You must complete a Lottery Questionnaire and return it by US Mail to 90 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. Questionnaires must be postmarked no earlier than May 1, 2018 and no later than May 31, 2018. Lottery Questionnaires will be available on May 1 at Santa Rosa branches... of the Sonoma County Library (Central, Rincon Valley, and Coddingtown), at the Housing Authority's office at 90 Santa Rosa Avenue, and on the City's website at www.srcity.org/section8. To qualify for the Program, applicants' annual gross income, based on household size, must be less than: $30,850 - 1 person $35,250 - 2 persons $39,650 - 3 persons $44,050 - 4 persons $47,600 - 5 persons $51,100 - 6 persons $54,650 - 7 persons $58,150 - 8 persons
