Santa Margarita KOA is only 50% open due to an Emergency Lodging Order from the San Luis Obispo County Health Department that went into effect on May 17, 2020. Sadly, all of our tent sites, log cabins, pool and public restrooms are closed until further notice. All weekend group activities like movies and hayrides have been canceled. So, please bring your own fun. Oh, forget I said that... Californians are not supposed to travel for fun, leisure, recreation, vacation or to v...isit friends and family... until the CA Stay-At-Home Order is lifted. There's no telling when that will happen. HOWEVER... IF you are an Essential Worker, need to self-quarantine, need to leave your home so someone else can self-quarantine or you are homeless...THEN you might be able to make a reservation to camp. BUT... from May 17 - 31, we are not able to make new reservations for folks from counties with high COVID rates like: Kings, Tulare, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Fresno and Kern. "Seriously?" you ask. Yes, indeed. IF you are from San Luis Obispo or Monterey county, THEN you might be able to camp if you bring your own restroom or Glamp in one of our cabins with a private privy for at least two nights. IF you call us to discuss your situation...THEN we can help you navigate this COVID CRAZINESS. Maybe. Maybe not. IF you are one of the fortunate few who gets to enjoy the great outdoors with us...THEN we will handle Checkin and Checkout remotely and even deliver store purchases to your campsite. Summertime...and the livin' is easy!?! 2020 will be a summer to remember...OR NOT. Please be a Happy Camper... wherever you are..until we meet again. (805)438-5618
