As Knights do we stand with our A Little Sister....
Brothers please read and pray for David Wright and family, he was a brother from Council 9740 and a very good friend. Hi Perry, this is Dave's daughter Rhonda. I wanted to give you an update on Dave in hopes you can get the Knights and others to send cards to Dave. It's a pretty rough ordeal what he's going through and I think the more love and support people can send would help. Here is the update I sent to the family on Friday. Thank you. ... Dave was moved yesterday to a Long Term Care Hospital. He wasn't as stable last week when they thought they would be moving him, so he spent almost another week in the Critical Care Unit. His time in the CCU was 1 day short of 4 weeks. His lungs haven't shown much improvement, but the doctor keeps stating this will take some time. He is still on the ventilator with a tracheotomy, so he is not able to speak yet. Bill and Maureen see him daily and he has started to mouth some words to them where they are able to read his lips somewhat. He is definitely more coherent which is a good sign that there is no brain issues/damage. He will continue his PT and it is hopeful that his lungs will begin to heal to be weaned off the ventilator. If anyone would like to send him a card, I'm sure he would really appreciate your thoughts, and well wishes for him.
