Please plan ahead for your food pick up.
The food pantry building is a prefab trailer with a flat roof. Do you work for a business that would help support our community in this challenging time.

Families with elementary age children have been unable to participate in receiving groceries due to supervising their child’s participation in zoom classes. We heard you and are changing our Wednesday hours to help you. If you are able to drive through in the morning hours, please continue to come on days with morning hours. These hours are for families with elementary age children. Please help keep the lines short.

Thank you to the anonymous person who dropped off a few dozen N95 masks today to keep our volunteers healthy and safe. You are our hero.
The new San Lorenzo Grocery Outlet has demonstrated a heart for the community. Over the past few months they’ve dropped by and volunteered with our grocery distribution. Today they’ve brought 2 gift cards for two food pantry families. Thank you Vanna and Hangsa Prom.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. For us to continue to provide uninterrupted grocery support to the community on Monday to Friday, we need more volunteers to make and distribute bags of groceries and produce. Thursday’s team are a serious and dedicated crew. Today we have two special guests, the new business owners of the Grocery Outlet due to open nearby this fall. Vanna and Hangsa have been helping package and distribute groceries and they hope to provide food to our clients through a planned grocery rescue agreement. Two new hero’s in our community. We are so thankful for our community donors. TZ NA International Trade of Hayward has recently donated 2 large shipments of shelf stable yummy yogurt. I had volunteers try a sample and we all agree, this is a great addition to our food give away. If you are a client, look forward to getting a case at your next distribution visit.
Wednesday teams small or large knock it out of the park. Last week my small team of 5(lower picture) hit a home run serving about 90 families. Today my team had some special recruits join us and they served over 100 families without much sweat. You are all awesome and I wouldn’t and couldn’t care for our community without you.Every week they hit a home run and then head home! Pun intended. Thank you to Anne, Anna, Andy, Kristen, Kimmie, Jennifer, Jessica, Jean, Joelle, Many, Michael, Benjamin and Susan.
