I have been monitoring my wife who tries to articulate better. She tries many different techniques, somehow I can't find her to make significant improvements. In toastmaster, at least "Table Topic" for sure a secret technique and she agrees with me when she pays attention to my Thursday night toastmaster. In a minute or two, you can improve a lot once per week. I wonder what do you try if you are attempting to improve your personal articulation? Share your though.

It is so easy to choose your chair in front of the zoom tonight than your sofa. We become the sofa after we sit on the sofa for so long. We become a toastmaster after we sit for just an hour with the experienced toastmasters and learn. What would you do if you know that you have to choose to improve your personal or professional development? It can be achieved from the toastmaster. I am giving up the sofa.

Last Thursday, I witnessed another amazing seasonal speaker in our San Leandro toastmaster night, I quickly gave them an A+ on their conclusion. I thought I have already learned enough from the speakers. Then, came along with two amazing seasonal evaluators, I took even more notes. I am so glad to attend the meeting because I have to prepare my next speech as well. I called it "learn as you go", which is why toastmaster is so beautiful. Learn as you go...

To all toastmasters and non-toastmasters, My name is Jake, I joined San Leandro toastmaster for at least 4 months now. In the beginning, it was a little fear for the stuff I don't know much in toastmaster, and I guess that is because myself and some hesitate to try out toastmaster, wait until the "right moment", and yeah, that is exactly what I did 5 years ago.....waiting and waiting... February of 2021, that was the moment I joined toastmaster by clicking the Thursday night ...Zoom link, and here I am ever since. I quickly learned the 3 most important components, (1) body language, (2) vocal variety, (3), words. Before I want to learn these 3 important components, I find another important key that I need to improve and I have been trying to improve and practice almost every sentence I talk since February, that is "filler words" I have to say that I have improved my filler words so much by my daily communication and most importantly on Thursday night with the club, people say confidence removed fear, but I say practice to increase confidence, that is step number one I have been working on See you this coming Thursday night at 6:30 PM Jake Lee
