Congratulations to our Spring Roll King, Danny Nguyen, and our Prince, Eric Kaing! With their interview answers, performances, and raising money for a good cause; they were able to impress the 3 judges that landed them into royalty! Thank you to all who came out to support our first ever Spring Roll King Pageant!

Want to get educated on the human rights violations in the Philippines? Well, you can show your support by joining Kabataan Alliance at SJSU’s film screening of Nightcrawlers! About the film: With unprecedented access, The Nightcrawlers is an unflinching exposé of #phillipines President Duterte’s war on drugs, in which some claim over 30,000 people have been killed. https://www.instagram.com/p/CD5mVqZg9g9/?igshid=qorktsyv0vlp
VSA at SJSU is committed to upholding Title IX standards, enacting our new Zero Tolerance policy, and above all, believing survivors first. In full transparency and in cooperation with the survivors, the individuals who have alleged sexual assault, abuse, and harassment cases were immediately removed from all VSA at SJSU events, any of its affiliated groups and programs, including but not limited to Family events, ACE events, etc. Survivors deserve a safe space within our club and we are committed to the necessary changes. We stand in solidarity with survivors and hope our members will join us. For our full statement: https://tinyurl.com/titleixstatement, and it’s also located in our quick links.
Thank you to everyone that was involved with "The Bridge That Connected". Despite not being able to put on our show, we still cherish all the memories we've made and hope to work together again soon.
The deafening silence and lack of action within the Asian-American community are deeply disappointing and will no longer be tolerated. We here in the Vietnamese Student Association at SJSU are committed to becoming better allies and standing in solidarity with the Black community.
