As a music teacher who’s been immersed in the transition to e-learning over the past two weeks, the more I try and shape the curriculum to try and replace what we were developing in daily band, orchestra and jazz rehearsals, the more I realize that this is an impossible task. Nothing can replace what young musicians experience from playing in an ensemble (not even SmartMusic).

This concert has really interesting music, but its also hard. Most if it's fast, it's unpredictable, constantly changing, some of it's totally chop busting.
