In light of the Shelter in Place order for Santa Clara county we are making the difficult decision to cancel services until the order is lifted. We encourage you to spend this time in meditation and study on your own. God bless those who are required to interact with the public. We will continue to lift you up in prayer. Dear friends and family of Butch O’Neal: Butch treasured both his relationship with the Lord and with his family and friends. With that in mind, we will gather in August to remember him and to share both our sorrow at losing him and our joy at his going home to the Lord. Please join us if you are able.... Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of Christ 1170 Foxworthy Ave. San Jose, CA 95118 A light meal will be served after the memorial service, so we can get acquainted, continue to visit, and to share more memories. This morning at 6:24 a.m., the world and the church lost a stellar example of a Christian gentleman, a man who fought demons to accept the gracious help of the Holy Spirit in overcoming a worldly life and becoming receptive to the precious grace of Jesus Christ who lovingly guides us all. Rest in the shelter of His mighty hand, Morgan O’Neal. We simply knew him as Brother Butch! Heaven rejoices, we mourn. God bless his family and those who will feel the loss of this inspiring brother in Christ. A service is being planned, but will not take place until August. We will post the date, time and place here.

Potluck reminder! We will be sharing a meal after morning services. Members, please bring food accordingly. We will no longer be having afternoon services after our even month potluck. Join us for food and fellowship!

Prayers are requested for our brother Larry Hammar. He is suffering from congestive heart failure and related issues. He is formerly from San Jose and is living in Missouri. Our prayers are with his wife Valeta, as well as his extensive family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our friend Timothy Nemeth today as his father is laid to rest. God bless him and his family as they celebrate his father's life and mourn his loss. May their good memories be a comfort during this time of mourning and remembrance.

We will have no afternoon service tomorrow, November 12th, 2017. The business meeting has been postponed. FYI!
