On Saturday, September 26, SVBC will be passing out Bike to Wherever Days bags, snacks, and goodies at the River Oaks Bridge in San Jose. Bike by between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. to say hi (six feet away, please!) and grab snacks. We appreciate you bringing a mask on your ride to wear when you stop to refuel. In recognition of Juneteenth the San Jose Bike Clinic will be open from 3pm to 8pm today. Come on down and say hi and get some work done on your bike.

Our SIP Policy, we plan to be open on Thursdays for sure, anything else, please make an appointment. Summary: mask required, 2 patrons allowed inside, repair work must be less than 30 minutes, make an appointment.

Hi Everyone and happy Thursday! All of us at the San Jose Bike Clinic want to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has stepped up to help us in this challenging time. From the news stories on KGO-TV and 98.5 kfox and all of the shares we've received here on Facebook we have felt the outpouring of support from this truly amazing community. We recently passed 90% of our fundraising goal, we got a very generous offer to help with an alarm and security camera system from The Alarm Company in Campbell, and we're working on getting restocked and set up for continuing our mission of helping the greater bicycling community. Hello Bike Clinic supporters! It is with sadness that we report just this past week we were broken into. Thankfully nobody was hurt but we suffered some significant losses in the tools we use to support the bicycling community. If you are able to help in any way we invite you to visit our GoFundMe page and help us restock the many specialty (and expensive) bike tools that were stolen. We've been closed since the start of SIP. We're considering opening by appointments only to help our community continue rolling. There are people that depend on their bicycles to get to/from work. If you have any PPE (face shields or face masks), we're asking for donations so that our volunteers and members of the community that don't have face masks can be safe.
