Lifeproof Vinyl Plank flooring has sure been a game changer. Ease of laminate, cost effective, and waterproof. We ripped out all the old tiles and carpet and ran this Sterling Oak 8 1/4 Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout the house. Also did a little update on the guest bathroom as well.

Yellows are a hard color as they tend to give the whole room an aged dated look if it’s not just the right yellow. This condo got a fresh coat of Egret White SW7570 matte finish on all the walls and is fresh and clean for the new tenants.

Stage 1 completed. We started off building a 12x17 foot deck with a wide wrap around step; shortly after we started the homeowner decided to go bigger. We’ll be adding on another 22 feet as soon as we can get back up there- for now they’ll have a nice spot to hang out for the summer and plan the backyard design. #CoffeyParkStrong Trex Transcend Island Mist (Lower fascia board will be added after walkway is done)

Little hard to tell in the photos because the lighting changed but Benjamin Moore Cumulus Cloud 1550 is a really nice shade of gray.

Another busy week. Phase 1 of this project. Raising the floor in TV room (preparing for a kitchen remodel) Installed a new, smaller slider. Replaced the old 3/8 siding with new 5/8 T1-11. And finished off the back yard with a new Trex deck in Toasted Sand, all hidden fasteners and a wrap around bench.

Now it’s just a waiting game for shower glass. Hexagon floor tile with black grout. White subway with white grout in the shower. Rain shower head with linear drain. Dark wood vanity with a Carrera top. Shiplap accent wall. Sherwin Williams Designer Edition eggshell finish in their new color Warm Pewter SW9572.

While we had the tile saw out for the bathroom remodel we gave the fireplace a bit of a facelift as well. Cleaned and painted the inside of the firebox with a high temp bbq paint, 12x12 Carrera on the hearth and a smaller mosaic Carrera for the surround.

Bathroom remodel is coming along right on schedule. Almost ready to show off the finished product, but here’s a sneak peek at some of our finishes.

You always find fun stuff when demoing an older remodel. Per the building code; -Holes in non-bearing walls can’t exceed 60 percent of their width. -Notches in non-bearing walls can’t exceed 40 percent of their width.... -The edge of a hole must be at least 5/8 in. from the edge of a stud. Not sure what type of math the plumber used on this one.

Out with the old. Time to put this puzzle back together.
