‘Welcome to the home by the sea’ painted after a PCH shoreline morning hike sketching on the trails above Highway 1 this week. by age 10-12. This was my first out of 7 short outdoor art camps this summer and it went well considering safety measures. Our masks-on policy on hikes and while moving around the work and sink areas where politely respected. We all where delighted to be painting together amongst the fragrant coastal sage scrubs scents and clean ocean breeze. Chinese dragon sculpture project- I love my docu camera, it allows me to twist the lens, zoom in and show my little student artists on their screens at home the nitty-gritty sculpting moves.. I don’t use my clay tools since most homes don’t have any. Instead, a pencil and a does it. I will definitely sculpt this dragon again in a workshop or outdoor art camp this summer.
