Why do you need a real estate agent in a hot seller's market? LET ME TELL YOU THE TRUTH Demand is at an all time high right now. There are actually more real estate agents than there are home for sale - it's pretty crazy! So I get it that you may be thinking - let's skip "paying" the REALTOR and sell on our own. ... But here's the truth.. If you want to leverage the current seller's market and see the demand that other homes on the market are seeing, it's going to require working with a professional. But not just ANY real estate agent (like I said, there are a ton of us). You're going to want to find someone you trust. Who has a killer marketing plan, is well liked by other agents and who isn't afraid to tell it like it is Someone who is extremely knowledgeable about the market, about pricing, who has done this many times before, who is capable of negotiating long contracts, can help you bridge the gap and not leave any money on the table between Accepted Offer and closing day and one who can break down the (hopefully) multiple offers you receive and help you choose the best one (it's not ONLY about price). That is what it takes to net the most money from your home sale. If you think selling your home is as easy is searching on Google, it's not. PINTEREST WORTHY HACKS for a smooth move 1. While clothes are still hanging, rubber band about 15 hangers together. Then grab a garbage bag & put a hole in the opposite end of where it ties, wrap it around a section of clothes and then tie it shut around the hangers at the top. Don't forget to tie the bottom too so the clothes are protected. 2. Pack heavy books in luggage with wheels to avoid overly heavy boxes.... 3. Store spices inside of pots, cover with lids, add to boxes 4. Use a pool noodle around the edges of your mirrors and picture frames to protect them from breaking. 5. Label the sides of the boxes instead of the top. 6. Color code different rooms to make it easy for movers. Add colored labels to each room so they can match it up with each box. 7. Use coffee filters in-between plates 8. Store knives knoin pot holders 9. Use clothes and scarves to wrap breakable items. 10. Put together an "open first" box or laundry basket of essentials you'll need right away like paper towels, toothbrushes, pajamas, toilet paper and shampoo.

Dear 2021, before we commit, let us lay some ground rules! While 2020 was far from an ideal yearthere were some silver linings too I'm grateful that technology allows me to do a lot of my job virtually so that I could keep things going this year. ... I'm grateful for the clients who stuck with me through quarantine and kept going forward with their home buying goals. I'm grateful for my sellers who trusted me to handle their home sale during a pandemic. I'm grateful for all my industry partners who came together to support each other and make sure we could get our clients to the closing table 2020 is a year we will never forget but in all seriousness, I do hope 2021 has more perks!
