Happy 2 year wedding anniversary to Melinda & Shannon! Melinda & Shannon met at the New York City Pride Run in 2010 and tied the knot with us at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Running is not only how they met but also a common passion they continue to share together. We love how they tied in the theme with custom cow bells at the ceremony, running bibs as table cards, and a display of their medals from past races together. As big animal lovers (check out their cake and animal visitors!), they also wanted to support our conservation efforts. We can't help but look back and be so thankful to have hosted the ILEA San Diego & San Diego NACE October Meeting at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park's newest venue, Kijamii Overlook. We can't believe it's been just over two years since Shelby and Luke said I do! The day was gorgeous filled with love and thoughtful details. We're glad Shelby felt the same way "The park was so much fun, and during September, the weather was perfect! They were easy to work with, helped set everything up that we needed, and had great vendor recommendations if we needed one. I loved being directly in the park next to the animals and dancing under the stars!"
