If you need some nature events to kickoff the new year, here are a few to consider: The SDTT is presenting Wildlife Tracks and Sign of San Diego County on Friday, January 24th, 2020 at the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park in Carlsbad. The address is 6200 Flying Leo Carrillo Lane, Carlsbad. Learn the basics of wildlife track and sign identification and discover a different way to see wildlife. This event is free and open to the public. Interested in a free plant walk in a unique, historical setting? The Leo Carrillo Ranch is offering a plant walk on Friday, January 17th. If you have never been to the Ranch, this is a good opportunity, not only for a plant walk, but to visit and learn about the history of the Ranch.
