The karaoke machine was being used non-stop near the end of the night, and we would have sang all night long if we could but we only rented to venue until 9pm. It is always a sad day when a rock legend dies. Today we mourn the passing of Neil Peart, master drummer for Rush. Our only consolation is that his music will live on and Rush will always be a treasured part of our karaoke library. Neil Peart is dead. "The Professor on the drumkit!" Rush's master drummer died on January 7th after a long battle with brain cancer. The title for best drummer ever is a battle between John Bonham and Neil Peart.
