We wanted to let you know that the vast majority of our SD Injury Network Medical Directory providers are continuing to provide medical care to their patients during the coronavirus outbreak. Many of them feel a personal and moral obligation to remain open during this challenging time to relieve the pressure currently being placed on emergency rooms, hospitals and urgent care centers. They each have their own policies and procedures based on the medical care that they provide... which frequently includes the following: *Evaluations by video conferencing / telemedicine *Preventing contact between patients by spacing out appointment times and/or escorting them from their vehicles *Extensive sanitization efforts including requiring patients to wash their hands before appointments, disinfecting rooms between appointments and using surgical masks and other personal protective equipment. Expert MRI and Max MRI are both open and continuing to perform their diagnostic imaging. Our providers are committed to providing their patients with the medical care that they need while also taking the precautions needed to contain this virus. Their medical staff is likewise continuing to provide medical records and bills upon request.
